(More customer reviews)I just bought this player after looking at many on the internet and all I could find at retailers in the area.Unlike many of the reviews of other players, I find the sound to be excellent.I started off listening with headphones, but found the speakers to be sufficient on a quiet evening.The screen size, at 10" is incredible and can be viewed from an angle.2 headphone jacks will allow both my kids to watch it at once ... assuming they get it away from me!
Now, with all that, why didn't I give it 5 stars?It does not come with a DC adapter for the car or plane, and so far I have not been able to find one for this model.The DC voltage is an odd 8.4 volts, so the standard do-it-all adapters do not work.This seems to be a major missing component for a "portable" DVD player.
