Battery drain is an issue with this player.I've seen it publicized on the company's website that users should remove the battery when not using the player.It seems there's a problem with the internal charger and the shutoff switch.The shutoff switch does not completely shut off the player, and a charge still trickles through, and if the battery becomes completely discharged, the internal charger will no longer charge the internal battery.And I have had this problem, learning about it too late.

Cyberhome does offer an external charger dock and "reconditioner", but I have yet to try that, but haven't run into any situations where I needed battery power lately.

The screen seems to offer fuzzy resolution, normal for the players of it's price range, no better, or no worse.

But it's superior when hooked to a TV, I was very impressed with that.

So for the price, it's ok - just get an external battery, or try the company's external dock.
