(More customer reviews)after doing lot of research on sony modelsI decided to go with this new model. And now I can say that I made the right choice.

1) picture qaulity is perfect.
2) in-built speakers are louder than 8inch model and the sound is very good( I saw the sony 8 inch model at my friends place )
3) battery life - as advertised fully charged battery comes 6 Hrs(+- 15 min). I tested and confirmed this 3 times.
4) DVD drive is very quiet.

I think these qualities are enough to say this is a great product.

overall this is a very satisfactory purchase.
