(More customer reviews)Despite the other reviewers, this RCA DVD player is not horrible for the price. I've had one since June 2009, and we've put it through its paces. It has survived multiple car trips (over 4 hours) and one airplane trip to Florida without any trouble. It does a good job outputting to a SD TV too. However, it has a few problems. For starters, the buttons are poorly labeled. In fact, there are four buttons that don't even have labels. Additionally, the screen and speaker don't shut off when outputting to the TV. Finally, the battery can not be removed. It certainly beats the no-name models we've purchased before.
